Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences punishable under Sections 299, 353(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had circulated a news article which came in a news channel. Even as per the complaint, the 2nd respondent had alleged the petitioner in circulating a false report, regarding the content which was telecasted in the news channel.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner had already issued a notice under Section 35(3) of BNSS Act, under the guise of investigation the Police was calling the petitioner on daily basis and detaining him for long hours.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State.
5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the SHO, Tirumala I Town Police Station, to explore the investigation in Crime No.60 of 2024, without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner.
6. The investigation pertaining to the news article of the complaint to be taken into consideration and to explore the finalization of investigation, and prepare the final report and file the charge-sheet before the competent Criminal Court as

expeditiously as possible preferred within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________
