GP FOR REVENUE (AP) The Court made the following order: Challenging the action of the respondents in trying to interfere with the possession of the petitioners’ land to an extent of Ac.0.40 cents each in Sy.No.329/1 in Kadali Village, Razole Mandal, East Godavari District, this writ petition is filed. 2. Heard Sri Ponnada Sree Vyas, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Government pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 3. It is represented that the subject lands is the patta lands of the petitioners. During the course of assigning cites in respect of the subject land in favour of the Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu scheme, respondents are highhandedly interfering with the possession of the petitioners’ land. 4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has placed on record a copy of the written instructions received from the Tahsildar, Razole, dated 22.02.2025. A perusal of the same would reveal that, initially the subject lands were proposed for distribution of house site pattas to the eligible beneficiaries of Vegivaripalem H/o Kadali Village under the Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu scheme, but the Government has not taken any further steps to acquire the subject lands. In- fact, the ryots who came forward and given their consent voluntarily, Government has taken steps to acquire the said lands and completed the land acquisition process. 5. In view of the above, no further directions are required to be passed. 6. The written instructions of the Tahsildar, Razole, dated 22.02.2025 are placed on record. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. The respondents are directed not to dispossess and interfere with the possession the petitioner’s property. In future, ifthe subject lands are required for the public purpose, the same shall be acquired in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
