Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayers: (i) Issue a writ of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 09.09.2025 passed by the respondent no.3 (contained as Annexure No. 1 to this Writ Petition). (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner for registration in 1st Semester of the 2nd Year M. Tech Course for the academic year 2025-26. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that against the impugned order dated 09.09.2025, the 1 2025:UHC:8591-DB petitioner has preferred a petition for re-admission as provided under Chapter V Rule 26 of the Academic Regulation before the Vice Chancellor. Learned counsel further submits that the respondents may be directed to consider and decide the said petition taking into consideration the future of the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the University submits that he has no objection if a direction is issued to the First respondent to consider the said application. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 1 to consider and decide the petition preferred by the petitioner under Chapter V Rule 26 of the Academic Regulation within a period of two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
