(Oral) Petitioner has filed instant Habeas Corpus Petition, inter alia, on the ground that he and Ms. Marium were in relationship; they married on 16.09.2025. The family members of Ms. Marium are powerful and source full persons, they were against this marriage. They are trying to harm the petitioner as well as Ms. Marium. They have captured Ms. Marium. 2. Today, Ms. Marium is produced before the Court by Sub Inspector Surbhi Rana, Police Station Ramnagar. Ms. Marium told the Court that she is staying with her parents in her parents’ house with her own free will. She is not under any compulsion or pressure. In fact, she categorically denied having solemnized any marriage. According to her, in the early hours’ of 16.09.2025, she left her home on the assurance of the petitioner that he would help her prepare for her MBBS studies. Thereafter, the petitioner took her in a village in Muzaffarnagar and sexually harassed her. He also forced her to sign on a Nikahnama. Ms. Marium states that she does not want to go 2 2025:UHC:8715-DB with the petitioner. According to Ms. Marium, her date of birth is 01.11.2003. 3. Ms. Marium is a major, she is free to stay wherever she wants to live. According to her, she is freely staying with her parents, therefore, there is no reason to make any interference.
