Through the medium of the present petition, the petitioner has sought a direction upon the official respondents to constitute a new specialised investigating team and to conduct further investigation in FIR No. 8 of 2023, registered with Police Station Chanpora, Srinagar. 02. During the pendency of the present petition, investigation in the aforesaid FIR was conducted and a charge-sheet for commission of offences under Sections 304, 341 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was laid before the Court of the 4th Additional Sessions Judge, Srinagar on 20th of October, 2023. Further the charge-sheet against three minor accused was laid before the Juvenile Justice Board. 03. Learned counsel appearing for the private respondent No. 5 to 9 has submitted that the charge-sheet filed against the said respondents has been dismissed by the Court of the 4th Additional Sessions Judge, Srinagar, vide order dated 13th of August, 2024, and the private respondents have been discharged. A copy of the said order has been placed on record. 04. In view of the above, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and is, accordingly, disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail appropriate legal remedies in accordance with law against the order of discharge passed in favour of private respondent Numbers 5 to 9. 05.
