Heard Mr. N.C. Das, the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam, who has produced the report received from the All Women Police Page No.# 2/2 Station, Panbazar, in respect of the query made by this Court, as to whether any case has been registered against the present petitioner to the said police station. 2. I have perused the report. 3. As per the report, a complaint was filed by one Mrs. Jhumpi Khatogir, against the present petitioner and an inquiry was initiated by the police station, in which both the parties appears and the matter was amicably settled and it was decided that no police station case is required to be registered, and accordingly, an inquiry was disposed of in the light of the report dated 14.05.2025 by ASI K.R. Paul, of All Women Police Station, Panbazar, this Court is of the considered opinion that there is no apprehension of the petitioner getting arrested in connection with the said case. 4. Hence, this anticipatory bail application has become infructuous and accordingly disposed of. 5. Let the report be kept, along with this case as a part of the record. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
