Heard Sri Arunendra Nath Mishra, learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for respondents. 2. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner while working on the post of Junior Assistant in Nirman Khand-, Public Works Department,District Hardoi when a criminal case was lodged against him being Case Crime No. 1418/2014, under Sections 498A, 304B, I.P. & 3/4 d.P. Act, Police Station Kotwali city, District - Hardoi. The petitioner was taken into custody on 01.12.2014 and he was enlarged on bail only on 23.04.2015. During this period the petitioner did not attend his official duties but after his release form jail he has moved an application for regularising his period in custody, he has moved a representation to the respondents on 19.12.2024 which has not been decided and accordingly has approached this Court for a direction the respondents to consider and decide his representation with expedition. 3. Learned Standing Counsel do es not oppose the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner. 4. Accordingly without entering into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 19.12.2024 by speaking and reasoned order in accordance with law expeditiously, say, within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
