PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: Counsel submits that the accused Nos. 1 & 2 in FIR No.43 of II Town Police Station, Learned counsel for the petitioners petitioner is arraigned as the file of the Anantapur 2025 on 2 Ananthapur District, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, 468, 417 read with 34 IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as per the 2. complaint the alleged offence occurred in the year 2021. It is alleged that the petitioners had collected an amount of Rs.61,40,000/- from the 2'^^ respondent with a promise to get a petrol bunk sanctioned on the name of the 2^^^ respondent. 3. It is further alleged that the petitioners have also submitted some documents relating to conversion of land for agricultural to 4. hon-agricultural purpose and that the said documents are fabricated. On the strength of the complaint of the 2'"'^ respondent, the Police have registered a case. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed a case against the 2"^^ respondent, when the 2"^^ respondent threatened the petitioners to return the amounts and the police have not registered the crime. To that effect, the petitioners also filed W.P.No.30089 of 2024 before this Court. Thereafter, the Police have registered a case against the 2 5. nd 3 respondent vide Crime No.283 of 2024 of Ananthapur IV Town Police Station. Considering the same, as the incident happened in the 2021, the Police are directed to complete the investigation by following the procedure as contemplated under Section 35(3) of BNSS. 7. year Accordingly, the Criminal petition is disposed of. 8.
