By the present writ petition, the petitioner, is seeking a direction to respondent No. 4, Tahsildar to decide the application filed by the petitioner for mutation of his land bearing khasra No. 283, 318, 322, 325, 353, 370, 516 rakba 0.29, 0.42, 1.14, 0.90, 0.72, 0.75, 2.23 hec. situated at village Lurghutta, Tahsil Balrampur within stipulated time. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cognizance on the application filed by the petitioner has alredy been taken by Nayab Tahsildar on 25.10.2024 and a report has been sought from the Halka Patwari but till date the application has not been decided finally. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that order sheet dated 25.10.2024 shows that the Nayab Tahsildar has already taken cognizance of the application and directed for publication of 3 proclamation and at the same time directed the Patwari to submit a report. He further submits that if the application is still pending, the same will be decided within stipulated period, in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the ordersheets dated 25.10.2024. 5. Perusal of order sheets shows that Nayab Tahsildar has already taken cognizance of the application and directed for issuance of proclamation and also sought report from the Halka Patwari. 6. Considering the same, the Tahsildar/ Respondent No. 4 is directed to pass necessary orders on the application (Annexure P-4) filed by the petitioner within 2 months from today. 7.
