This Criminal Petition, has been filed by the petitioner/A.5 under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, ‘BNSS’) seeking regular bail in Crime No.133 of 2024 of Narasaraopet II Town Police Station, Palnadu District, registered against the petitioner and others for the offences punishable under Section 370(4) r/w.34 IPC, 143(4) r/w.3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short, ‘BNS’) and Section 80 and 81 of Juvenile Justice Act, 2015. 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner/A.5. Despite listing the matter under the caption ‘for dismissal’, no representation is made on his behalf. It seems that the petitioner/A.5 has no interest to proceed with the petition. 3. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed for default.
