1. Heard Mr. B. Haldar, the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. M. Das, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent as well as Mr. S. H. Rahman, the learned counsel appearing for the informant.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was granted interim bail by this court on 01.05.2025 and in pursuant to the
Page No.# 2/2 directions of this Court, he has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has cooperated in the investigation.
3. The same has also been acknowledged by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who has produced the case diary of Dhubri Police Station Case No. 170/2025.
4. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the informant has opposed the making of the interim bail as absolute on the grounds that the petitioner has intentionally committed the offence alleged in the FIR. However, he fairly submits that the petitioner has not indulged in any act of threatening the informant after the grant of interim bail.
5. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel for both the sides and have perused the case diary of Dhubri Police Station Case No. 170/2025.
6. Since, it appears from the case diary that the petitioner has complied with the directions of this Court and has cooperated in the investigation and since, there is no allegation of any attempt on his part in influencing the witnesses or threatening them, the interim bail granted to the above-named petitioner by order dated 01.05.2025 by this Court is hereby made absolute with condition Nos. 1 and 2 attached to the said order remaining intact.
7. Send back the case diary.
8. This anticipatory bail application is disposed of.
