Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the material available on record. 2. It has been submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner is working as Chief Food Safety Officer, Jalaun and is going to retire on 31.03.2026, which is within a period of next two years and submits that according to transfer policy/guidelines issued by the State Government for the Transfer Sessions 2024-25, it was provided that as far as possible a person who is going to retire near two years may be posted near his hometown. It is further submitted that the son of the petitioner is suffering from permanent disability. 3. In this regard, the petitioner has given the choice of districts, where he could be placed and has moved a representation before respondent no. 1 on 30.06.2024, which has not been decided, accordingly, a prayer has been sought for a direction to the respondent no. 1 - Principal Secretary, Food Safety & Drug Administration Department, Government of U.P. Civil Secretariat, Lucknow to consider and decide his representation dated 30.06.2024 expeditiously. 4. Learned Standing Counsel does not object to the prayer made by the petitioner. 5. In light of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move a fresh representation within two weeks from today to respondent no. 1. i.e., Principal Secretary, Food Safety & Drug Administration Department, Government of U.P., Civil Secretariat, Lucknow, in case such a representation is made within the aforesaid period, the respondent no. 1 shall consider and decide the same with expedition within next four weeks by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law and the same be communicated to the petitioner..
