This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2023 passed in MCRC No. 6357 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Chayan Pahuja had expressed its trust and hope that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of ANURADHA TIWARI Digitally signed by ANURADHA TIWARI Date: 2025.01.08 18:01:57 +0530 2 six months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. A CRMP No.1249 of 2024 has been filed for extension of time, which was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 11.06.2024 by observing that the request made by the learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), District-Bilaspur (C.G.) appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court was directed to conclude the trial within a further period of 06 month from the receipt of copy of the order. 4. The Judicial Magistrate First Class, District- Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 06.12.2024 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial as the statement of some the prosecution witnesses are yet to be recorded, hence, the conclusion of the trial may take some more time. 5. After having perused the request made by the learned trial Court vide letter dated 06.12.2024, it transpires that statement of complainant is yet not recorded as he has not appeared before the trial Court, and though the summon and bailable warrants has been issued against him. 6. The request made by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class District- Raipur (C.G.) appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a further period of one month from the receipt of copy of this order. 3 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
