NARASIMHA RAO DAVULURI The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.5930 of 2019 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “…to issue appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 5 in not registering the crime on the petitioner complaint dated 26.01.2019 against the 6th respondent as wholly illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 5 to register the crime on the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.01.2019 and investigate into the matter in accordance with law in the interest of justice and to pass such other order…” (in verbatim) 2. Learned counsel for the writ petitioner is in attendance. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submits that, based on the report submitted by the writ petitioner, the police registered a case in Crime No.130/2019 under Sections 447, 323, 384, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Koyyalagudem Police Station. After completion of the investigation, a charge sheet was filed on 31.12.2021. Subsequently, on 12.09.2025, 4 both parties entered into a compromise before the Lok Adalat, and the case ended in acquittal vide C.C. No.490/2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Jangareddigudem. 4. In that view of the matter, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication, and the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
