This petition seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the First Information Report dated 16.11.2024 bearing Case Crime No.0636 of 2024, under Section 303(2) of B.N.S.,2023, Police Station Kotwali City, District Pratapgarh. Learned A.G.A. on instructions states that there is a criminal history of 13 cases against the petitioner while the petitioner has given a wrong statement and stated that there is no criminal history against him. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for petitioner prays to withdraw present writ petition with liberty to take appropriate proceedings before the appropriate Court as prescribed under the law.
