Through the medium of the present contempt petition, the petitioners are seeking implementation of order dated 25.07.2017 passed by the Writ Court in SWP No. 159/2017 whereby the respondents were directed to treat the Writ petition of the petitioners as representation and to accord consideration to the claim of the petitioners on the same analogy as has been evolved in the case of similarly circumstanced persons in the Department. 02. The respondents have filed their Compliance Report and along with the said Compliance Report they have also placed on record copy of the Consideration Order dated 06.11.2024. 03. In the said Consideration order, the respondents have submitted that they are not providing incentive of 2 ½ half days extra salary in lieu of Sundays and Holidays to similarly circumstanced persons of the Department. 04. In view of the fact that the respondents have considered the claim of the petitioner and found it to be devoid of any merit, the order of the Writ Court stands complied with. Therefore, the respondents cannot be proceeded against. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed and the contempt petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioner to challenge the consideration order passed by the respondents by way of an appropriate proceedings.
