Nondamba, learned counsel appearing for the respondent, placed before this Court a letter dated 07.05.2025 from the Deputy Director (Admin) stating inter alia that out of 9(nine) remaining persons to be deployed, 2(two) persons have been deployed in view of the exigency of services and subsequently, they were posted in the Deptt. of Nephrology, RIMS, Imphal. However, status quo is still maintained in respect of the petitioners and the remaining 7(seven) posts are still kept vacant. In view of the instructions as contained in the said letter, the learned DSGI submitted that the present application has become infructuous and the same can be closed. Mr. N. Jotendro, learned senior counsel appearing for the applicants, endorsed the submission made by the learned DSGI. In view of the submission by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the present application is closed as infructuous.
