Petitioner has made a representation to District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar on 07.08.2025. 4. Learned State Counsel, however, submits that the said representation was sent to District Magistrate by Post on 21.08.2025. In the representation, petitioner has alleged that husband of respondent no. 4, who was elected as Pradhan, has encroached upon Government land, which is a disqualification under Section 8(1)(s) of Uttarakhand Panchayati Raj Act. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the District Magistrate to consider his representation. 6. Having regard to the relief sought, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate concerned to consider and decide representation submitted by petitioner, within three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. It goes without saying that respondent no. 4 shall also be given reasonable opportunity of hearing before passing the order.
