Through the instant writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, a prayer is made for issuance of a mandamus upon the respondents no.1 to 7 to take a strict legal action as well as to initiate departmental inquiry against respondents no.8 to 15. 2. The grievance which propelled the present petitioner to file the instant petition is that the Executive Engineer, Lehal, Canal Division, Water Resource Department of Punjab, has not taken any final decision on Annexure P-6. 3.
