SODUM ANVESHA 2 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring F.I.R. No. 128 of 2023, dated 09,12.2023 on the file of Disha UPS (WPS), Tirupati, Tirupati District, registered by the 1st Respondent as arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory, malafide, violating Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, discloses non-application of mind and the contents of the complaint will not constitute any offence under Sections 498-A, 403 and 420 IPC read with Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, and set-aside the same and issue consequential directions restraining the Respondents from proceeding further in pursuance of F.I.R. No. 128 of 2023, dated 09,12.2023 on the file of Disha UPS (WPS), Tirupati, Tirupati District, registered by the 1st Respondent and further direct the Respondents 1 to 5 to forthwith release and hand over the passports of the Petitioners seized / impounded by the 1st Respondent on 31.12.2023.” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri P.V.Krishnaiah, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, in view of the charge sheet filed in Crime No.128 of 2023 on the file of Disha UPS (WPS), Tirupati, the Petitioners filed another writ petition seeking quashment of the same. Hence, the present petition may be closed. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
