Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGA for the State. Notice to respondent no. 2 is dispensed with in light of the proposed order. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint case was filed on 25.05.2013. After a delay of three years, the accused, Ajay Khatri, surrendered on 07.11.2016 and was granted bail. However, the other accused, Dhruvraj Yadav, remains absconding, which resulted into non-commencement of trial. Cognizance of the case was taken on 21.03.2016. In these circumstances, the counsel for the petitioner prays the expeditious disposal of the case. On due consideration to the submissions advanced, the court below is directed to take effective measures in accordance with the various circulars issued by the Allahabad High Court to Judicial Magistrates for the speedy disposal of criminal trials. The court is further directed to make an endevour to conclude the proceedings within one year from the date of production of the certified copy of this order. The petition is disposed of.
