The petitioner in this writ petition has prayed only for a direction upon the respondents to dispose of his representation, which he has filed pursuant to order dated 26.06.2024 passed in W.P.(S) No.5911 of 2023, by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that after a much delay, the retiral benefits of the petitioner was disbursed, thus, he is entitle to get interest on the aforesaid amount. 4. From the records, I find that on the earlier round of litigation, the petitioner was allowed to withdraw the writ petition 2025:JHHC:24050 2 with a liberty to file a representation before the competent Authority for redressal of his grievance. 5. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed a representation, but the same is yet to be decided, thus a direction may be given to dispose of the same. 6. Considering the nature of the prayer, I direct the Secretary – Department of Water Resources, Government of Jharkhand, to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, and pass an appropriate order as per Rules and also as per the judgments of this Court and the Hon’ble Supreme Court, governing the issue. 7.
