Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:1940-DB Court No. - 2 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 276 of 2025 Petitioner :- Anadi Chitranshi Respondent :- The Chairman Bar Council Of U.P. Prayagraj/Lucknow And Anr. Counsel for Petitioner :- In Person Counsel for Respondent :- Subhash Chandra Pandey, Shailesh Kumar Pathak Hon'ble Rajan Roy,J. Hon'ble Brij Raj Singh,J.
1. Heard Shri Anadi Chitranshi, petitioner in person and Shri Subhash Chandra Pandey, counsel for opposite party no.1 and Shri Shailesh Kumar Pathak, counsel for opposite party no.2. 2. Petitioner appearing in person says that he has to appear in the Provincial Civil Services (Judicial) Examination in the State of Chattisgarh on 24.01.2025 for that he should be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council which in this case is the U.P. Bar Council. His application for enrollment has remained pending for long and now 25.01.2025 is the date fixed for his interview. 3. Although he attempted to submit that interview is not permissible, however, on being pointed out by the court that if his interview be pre-poned to 12.01.2025 then at least his rights so far as his appearance in the examination on 24.01.2025 is concerned would be protected and thereafter if he is still aggrieved and wishes to challenge any bye-law framed by the Bar Council of India or the U.P. Bar Council as the case may be in this regard he may do so, as there is no such prayer in this writ petition challenging the bye-laws he reconciled without prejudice to his rights to challenge the relevant bye-laws. 4. We, accordingly, dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the U.P. Bar Council to pre-pone the interview of the petitioner to 12.01.2025 and take consequential action of enrollment of the petitioner if he is found eligible
and entitled for the same, at the earliest, but positively within the next one week unless there is any legal impediment in which case the petitioner shall be informed in writing. This in our opinion meets the ends of justice. 5. Accordingly, we dispose of this writ petition with liberty as aforesaid. 6. Council for the Bar Council U.P. shall immediately communicate our order to the Bar Council for compliance. 7. Let a copy of this order be given to the petitioner today itself on payment of usual charges.
