This is an application for condonation of delay of 1296 days in filing the Appeal against the impugned Judgment dated 18.01.2022 and Order of Conviction dated 20.01.2022, passed by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Judicial), West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin in Sessions Case No. 10 of 2018, whereby the applicant/appellant has been convicted under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, to undergo imprisonment for life, accompanied with a fine. 2. We have perused the application for condonation, and we are satisfied that sufficient cause has been made out in explaining the delay. 3. Mr. S.Sengupta, learned Addl. PP for the respondent, also has no objection to the condonation, as prayed. 4. Accordingly, the prayer is allowed and the delay of 1296 days, is condoned.
