PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The court made the following Order: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner herein, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.20 of 2025 of Nandigama Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Section 103(1) of the BNS. 2. Case of the prosecution, in brief is that on 15.01.2025, the complainant filed a report before the police stating that she is a resident of Ithavaram village and Nagendram is her elder daughter and she married to Murali Krishna of Madupalli village of Madhira Mandal in the year 2009 and they blessed with two sons and thereafter differences arose in between them and accordingly, her elder daughter left her husband and came to 2 Ithavaram village and had been residing with her along with her children and at about nine months back the accused developed acquaintance with Nagendram and they both were living together in a rented house of Gundu Srinu near Ramalayam and in the meantime, the accused addicted to bad vices and suspected the character of Nagendram and used to beat her and in the absence of accused, his younger brother Ashok used to misbehave with her and demand her to satisfy his lust and the family members of accused also harassed her elder daughter while things stood thus, on 15.01.2025 at about 2.00 p.m., she came to know that the accused killed her elder daughter and immediately they rushed to the house of the elder daughter and found the dead body of her elder daughter in the bed room of the house and the accused was sitting besides the dead body and on seeing them, the accused ran away from the spot and they also found broken glass and the household articles are fell down scatter and the accused strangled the throat of deceased and committed murder of the deceased. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Perused the record. 3 4. On perusal of the material on record, it is alleged that the accused committed murder of the deceased with whom he was living together. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that the case is still under investigation and some more witnesses are to be examined. 5. Considering the serious nature of accusations made against the petitioner and considering the fact that the investigation in the present crime is at nascent stage, this Court is not inclined to consider the request of the petitioner for grant of bail. 6.
