Also heard Mr. P. S. Lahkar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, who is apprehending arrest in connection with Sukchar P.S. Case No. 50/2024, under Sections 137(2)/65(1)/115(2)/3(5) of BNS, 2023 read with Section 6 of POCSO Act, 2012. The case was fixed today for production of the Case Diary; however, Mr. Mollah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, has submitted that the I.O. has already filed charge-sheet, vide Charge-Sheet No. 13/2025, dated 20.02.2025. Considering the submissions of learned counsels for both sides and also considering the fact that the case has already been charge-sheet, vide Charge- Sheet No. 13/2025, dated 20.02.2025, the accused/petitioner is hereby directed to approach the learned Trial Court with an appropriate application for bail, Page No.# 3/3 which shall be considered in accordance with law.
