GP FOR HOME The Court made the following Order: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, for the respondent Nos.1 to 5. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are alleged to have been threatened to settle family dispute with the 6th respondent and the respondent Nos.4 and 5 are calling the petitioners to settle the family dispute though there is no crime registered against them. 2 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the 5th respondent has registered a case in Crime No.22 of 2025 against the petitioners for the alleged offences under Sections 85 of BNSS Act read with Section 3 and 4 of DP Act. It is submitted that the petitioners were called to the Police Station for the purpose of enquiry. 4. Recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader and also taking on record the copy of FIR and the investigation conducted by the police and considering the false nature of allegations of the official respondents, this Writ Petition is dismissed. 5. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed. ___________________ JUSTICE HARINATH.N BMS
