The office report dated 22.1.2025 reflects that neither any unserved notice has been received back nor any vakalatnama has been filed on behalf of petitioners. The service of notice upon the petitioners is presumed sufficient under the Rules of the Court. The matter is an old one pertaining to the year 1993. When the case has been called out no one is present to press the writ petition, while Shri Ashish Sinha, learned Standing Counsel is present for the State-respondents. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non prosecution.
