Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:28431 Court No. - 28 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 161 of 2006 Petitioner :- Saurabh Shukla Respondent :- State Of U.P.Through Prn.Secy.Forest And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- A.R. Masoodi Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Brij Raj Singh,J. Vide order dated 07.04.2014, card notice was issued to the petitioner to engage some other counsel as the then counsel has been elevated to this Bench. Office report dated 25.07.2014 indicates that notice has been served sufficiently but none has appeared for the petitioner. It appears that petitioner has lost his interest to pursue the case. It is an old matter of 2006 and it appears to have become infructuous by efflux of time. It is informed by Shri Pradeep Kumar Singh, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State that the representation filed by the petitioner has been rejected and the competent authority had taken decision on 09.03.2006 by which claim of the petitioner for appointment under Dying-in-Harness Rules has been rejected on the ground that his father was a daily wager therefore, the appointment of the petitioner could not be made. The writ petition is dismissed and is consigned to record as having become infructuous.
