The petitioner feeling aggrieved against the imposition of environmental compensation has made several representations before the competent authority of which last made on 11.9.2024 is contained in annexure 9 to this petition. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the matter has not been considered by the competent authority till date, on account of which, the petitioner is apprehending the recovery of amount without following due procedure under law. 4. Be that as it may, without observing any opinion on the merit of the case, the competent authority is hereby directed to consider the pending representation within a period of one month from the date a certified copy of the order is filed. 5. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
