The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in proposing to allot house site plots in the land situated in R.S.Nos.202, 233, 237, 238, 243 and 244 of Galayagudem Village, Denduluru Mandal, West Godavari District, which is classified as road. Despite the same the respondents contrary to Section 53(1) of Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act and also the Board Standing orders, trying to allot house sites over the said lands. 2. This Court while ordering notice, on 23.03.2020 directed the respondents to maintain status quo existing as on that date. The said interim order is subsisting till today. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue placed instructions dated 10.03.2025 furnished by the 4th respondent. 4. On perusal of the said instructions, it is clear that the proposal to distribute house site pattas over the subject lands was dropped and the respondents acquired alternative land admeasuring an extent of Ac.4.10 cents in R.S.Nos.137/3a and 137/4a of Galayagudem Village, Denduluru Mandal, for the purpose of distribution of house site pattas. 5. The said instructions dated 10.03.2025 are placed on record. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed in view of interim orders, no further orders are necessary. There shall be no order as to costs.
