The instant petition has been preferred for the following main relief:- "issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing the impugned order of dated 2.2.2017 passed by learned Deputy Director of Consolidation, Lucknow, in revision no. 120/16- 17, Chhotey Lal & others Versus Pawan Kumar & others, contained as Annexure no.1 to this writ petition." During pendency of the present petition, the parties have settled the dispute amicably out of Court and in view of the settlement arrived between the parties, a compromise deed was filed before this Court and taking note of the same, this Court directed the parties to appear before Senior Registrar of this Court for verification of compromise deed. In compliance of the order of this Court, the Senior Registrar of this Court dated 02.04.2025, which being on record, reads as under:- "Vide Hon'ble Court's order dated 27-03-2025, parties were directed to appear before the undersigned today for verification of compromise deed. The said compromise has been annexed as Annexure No. 1 to application for disposal of the writ petition dated 04-02-2025.. Today, petitioners namely (1) Lakshmi Narain S/o Heera Lal, (2) 2/1 Vinod Kumar S/o Ram Khelawan, (3) 2/2 Madan Pal S/o Ram Khelawan, (4) 2/3 Smt. Rama Devi W/o Ram Khelawan and (5) Pawan Kumar S/o Raja Ram alongwith their learned counsel Shri Harish Chandra, Advocate and opposite party Nos. 4 & 5 i.e. Chhotey Lal S/o Nihal and Badlu S/o Nihal respectively alongwith their learned counsel Shri Satish Kumar Sharma, Advocate are present before me. Vakalatnama of counsels for both the parties is on record. The proof of identity i.e. Aadhar Card is produced by both the parties, at the time of verification. The contents of the said compromise deed have been read over and explained to both the parties to the compromise deed and they have stated that they have executed the same according to their free will and as a token there of they have affixed their photographs, put T.Is. and signatures, which are duly attested and verified by their respective counsels. In view of the said facts, the compromise between petitioners namely (1) Lakshmi Narain S/o Heera Lal. (2) 2/1 Vinod Kumar S/o Ram Khelawan, (3) 2/2 Madan Pal S/o Ram Khelawan, (4) 2/3 Smt. Rama Devi W/o Ram Khelawan and (5) Pawan Kumar S/o Raja Ram and opposite party Nos. 4 & 5 i.e. Chhotey Lal S/o Nihal and Badlu S/o Nihal respectively is being verified by me today i.e. 2nd day of April, 2025. The report is submitted before Hon'ble Court for orders." Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of finally in terms of compromise which shall form part of this order and the impugned order dated 02.02.2017 is set aside on the basis of compromise.
