1. None appears for the petitioners. However, Mr. Jehangir Dar, learned GA, appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the instant petition can be disposed of in view of the averments pleaded in the writ petition, and states that in the event the respondents intend to acquire the land, if it belongs to the petitioner, the same shall be done strictly in accordance with the law.
2. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondents, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping this petition alive. Accordingly, the petition is
disposed of with a direction to the respondents that if they intend to acquire the petitioner’s land, and if there is no other legal impediment, the same shall be done strictly in accordance with due process of law and not otherwise.
3. The writ petition is disposed of in the manner indicated above.
