UNION TERRITORY OF J AND K AND ORS.

…Respondent(s)
CORAM:
HON’BLE MR. WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE.
ORDER 14.11.2025
01. After arguing for a while, when the learned counsel for the petitioner was confronted with the maintainability of the instant petition, as it raises disputed questions of fact, she submitted that she would feel satisfied in case a direction is issued to the concerned Principal, Government Medical College, Srinagar to decide the representation alleged to have been filed by the petitioner within a reasonable period.
02. Mr. Waseem Gul, learned Government Advocate, who has caused appearance on the asking of the Court, is not averse to this course provided the same is directed to be considered strictly under rules and as per law. 78 Suppl-I
03. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the instant writ petition is taken up for disposal at the very threshold, without commenting upon the merits or the maintainability of the petition at this stage.
04. Since an innocuous prayer has been made that a direction be issued to the respondent to accord consideration to the aforesaid representation, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the said respondents to decide the representation alleged to have been filed by the petitioner strictly under rules and as per law within a period of four weeks.
05. A copy of this order along with the writ petition and enclosed annexures are made available to the said respondents.
06. The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid manner.
