PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following JUDGMENT: This Criminal Appeal has been preferred against the conviction and sentence passed in the Judgment dated 11.01.2007 in C.C.No.25 of 2001 by the learned Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Vijayawada. 2. The matter underwent several adjournments on the ground that there was no representation on behalf of the appellant. On 2 25.07.2022, this Court ordered to issue bailable warrant as against the appellant herein. Even thereafter, there was no representation on behalf of the appellant. 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the appellant. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent/State submitted that the appellant herein passed away on 26.09.2009 due to chronic liver ailment disease and in proof of the same he filed a memo dated 24.03.2025 along with the death certificate of the appellant herein dated 16.10.2009 issued by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad, showing that the appellant herein died on 26.09.2009. No application is filed by the LRs to come on record. 4. In view of the said reason, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
