Mr. Yogesh Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Suyash Pant, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner filed Writ Petition (M/S) No. 2317 of 2025 challenging suspension of his membership by respondent no. 2. The said writ petition was disposed of with a direction to Deputy Registrar, Firms, Societies & Chits, Haldwani to decide representation dated 17.07.2025 submitted by petitioner, within four weeks. 4. Deputy Registrar, Firms, Societies & Chits has passed an order on 18.08.2025, directing respondent nos. 2 & 3 to convene a special meeting for considering petitioner’s representation dated 17.07.2025, within four weeks. 5. In this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 and 3 to take a decision on the representation dated 17.7.2025 of the petitioner as directed by the Deputy Registrar, Firms Society and Chit Funds Heera Nagar Haldwani vide order dated 18.08.2025. (ii)Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to conduct the upcoming election of Nagar Vayapar Sangh Bageshwar till the decision in the matter of the petitioner as directed by 2025:UHC:8341 the respondent no. 4. 6. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that respondent nos. 2 & 3 are not holding meeting despite the order of Deputy Registrar. It is further contended that delay is aimed at depriving petitioner of the right to contest election. 7. Since Deputy Registrar has already passed an order directing respondent nos. 2 & 3 to convene meeting within four weeks, therefore, no further direction would be needed to the concerned Authority. 8. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by providing that if direction issued by Deputy Registrar, Firms, Societies & Chits is not complied with, then Deputy Registrar shall be entitled to take such further legal action, as permissible under the law.
