Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. This appeal under Section 14(A)(1) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 has been filed by the appellant with the prayer for quashing the entire criminal proceedings initiated in pursuance of the impugned charge-sheet dated 17.11.2024 arising out of Case Crime No.176 of 2024 under Sections 351(2) B.N.S. and Section 3(2)(va) Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 as well as cognizance/summoning order dated 19.11.2024 passed by learned Special Judge, SC/ST Act, Lucknow in Special Trail No.Nil of 2024 (State vs. Jay Karan Maurya). 3. After arguing at length, learned counsel for the appellant submits that he does not want to press this application with liberty to move an application for discharge through counsel before the trial court and the same may be decided by the learned trial court in a time bound manner. 4. Accordingly, the instant application is dismissed as not pressed providing that in case, the appellant moves an appropriate application for discharge through counsel before the concerned trial court within a period of fifteen days from today, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months in accordance with law, by the concerned trial court. .
