By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to take action against the illegal construction over the khasra no. 29 of Village Noorpur, Panjanchedi, Pargana Jwalapur, Tehsil and District Haridwar. II. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to demolish the illegal construction over the khasra no. 29 of Village Noorpur, Panjanchedi, Pargana Jwalapur, Tehsil and District Haridwar.” 5. Petitioner claims to be President of Kisan Union. According to him, residential houses are being built over agricultural land, without obtaining necessary permission from the concerned agencies, including Development Authority. 6. Mr. Lalit Miglani, learned counsel appearing for the Development Authority, however, submits that as per his instructions, no construction is presently being carried on, over the land indicated in the writ petition. He assures 2025:UHC:8359 that only such construction will be permitted to be raised, which are duly approved by the Development Authority. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by taking the statement made by Mr. Lalit Miglani on record that the Development Authority shall ensure that no construction is permitted to be raised, which is not duly approved by the Development Authority.
