Sri Badrish Tripathi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel is present for the State-opposite party. 3. This Court vide order dated 17.05.2013 issued notice to the petitioner to engage some other counsel due to death of earlier counsel Sri M. Afzal and the other counsel Sri P. Chandra having been designated as Senior Advocate. 4. The office report dated 31.01.2025 shows that the card notice was sent on 17.05.2013 but did not return back. 5. As per the provisions of the Rules of the Court, the notice upon the petitioner is presumed sufficient. 6. The case is an old one pertaining to the year 1991. It appears that by the efflux of time, the petitioner has lost his interest in pursuing the case any more. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed for want of prosecution.
