This Court vide order dated 30.04.2024 issued card notice to the petitioners to engage another counsel due to death of Sri K.P. Singh Advocate, who was earlier appearing for the petitioners. The office report dated 22.07.2024 shows that card notice were sent through registered post but did not return back, hence service of card notice upon petitioner nos. 1 to 3 is deemed sufficient as per the Rules of the Court. The office report further shows that card notice sent to petitioner nos. 4 and 5 has returned back with remark that 'recipient is dead". Taking into consideration the fact that the matter is an old one pertaining to the year 1992 and no one appears to press this petition even in the revised list,hence the writ petition deserves to be dismissed for want of prosecution. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
