The petitioner seeks an electricity connection in his own name in respect of the premises in question, however, according to Ms. Aprajita Bansal, learned counsel for the opposite parties there are electricity dues on the premises in question which have to be paid prior to grant of electricity connection subject to satisfaction of other conditions. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will deposit 50% of the due amount, however, there is no such provision under which we could permit this. 4. The petitioner may do the needful as per law but this is not a case for passing any substantive order under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 5.
