In compliance of the earlier orders passed by this Court, the Superintendent, District Jail Lucknow, has sent a report dated 11.04.2025. We have gone through the said report sent by the Superintendent, District Jail Lucknow, wherein it has been stated that the sole appellant- Arif was in jail since his conviction and he died on 23.02.2025 during treatment in Balrampur, District Hospital, Lucknow. Since the sole appellant- Arif S/o Najim, has died during the pendency of the Appeal, the instant Appeal is liable to be dismissed as abated. Accordingly, the Appeal is dismissed as having been abated However, the Trial Court Record shall not be sent back and it shall be tagged with the connected Appeal No.1099 of 2020: Imran Khan Vs.
