Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submissions for issuance of a direction to the Chairperson / Additional Secretary (Promotion), U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow for taking suitable decision on the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2024, a copy whereof is annexure 4 to the writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the aforesaid limited prayer as made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by issuing a direction to the respondent no. 3 i.e. the Chairperson / Additional Secretary (Promotion), U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2024, a copy of which is annexure 4 to the writ petition, by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and to indicate the decision taken by him to the petitioner.
