Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. This petition has been filed challenging the order dated 17.02.2022 by which the application filed by the defendant-wife in the matrimonial case for interim maintenance under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act was directed to be kept on record. 3. It has been informed that said application is still pending. 4. Since, both the parties are contesting the case on merits, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar to consider and decide the interim maintenance application under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties provided that there is no other legal impediment.
