GP FOR HOME 2 HN, J W.P.No.6867_2025 The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for the Home. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is aggrieved by the 2nd respondent in not considering the representation of the petitioner seeking transfer of investigation to any other Police Station or to any specialized investigating agency. 3. It is submitted that the 5th and 6th respondents extended loans to the brother of the petitioner and has collected abnormal interest for a short period. It is also alleged that the petitioner’s brother also pledged gold chain with the 5th respondent and that the 5th respondent in turn pledged it with gold finance company. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation seeking action against the 5th and 6th respondents. However, the 3rd respondent has not taken any action and as such, she filed the present writ petition. 4. Today, the learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions submits that the Police have recorded the statements of five witnesses and that investigation is pending. It is also submitted that the investigation is being conducted as per the law, and that further investigation relating to the statements of the witnesses and 3 HN, J W.P.No.6867_2025 also investigation relating to particulars of financial transactions between the petitioner and unofficial respondents is being proved. 5. Recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of the receipt of this order, with regard to the alleged gold chain of the petitioner’s brother mortgaged by the 5th respondent. There shall be no order as to costs.
