Sri Pawan Kumar Rai, learned counsel appears on behalf of Kanpur Development Authority. 2. The present petition has been filed for a direction to pay compensation to the petitioner in respect of Arazi No. 30 Area 0.728 hectare situated in Village- Gangpur Chakbada, Pargana- Kanpur Sadar, Tehsil- Kanpur Sadar, District- Kanpur Nagar within stipulated period and to decide his representation dated 15.02.2024. Therein, the petitioner has prayed for release of compensation for the said land. 3. The ADM, Land Acquisition, Kanpur, has submitted written instructions dated 10.03.2025, in which the stand taken is that subject land was duly acquired under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and an award was declared on 09.02.2010. The compensation amount is in deposit and it is open to the petitioner to approach his office for release of compensation amount. 4. Having regard to the aforesaid stand we dispose of the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach respondent no.2 by means of a fresh representation alongwith true attested copy of the instant order and in that event respondent no.2 will take necessary action in accordance with law within next two weeks.
