JUSTICE PRAVEER BHATNAGAR Order 21/04/2025 1. Petitioners have preferred instant petition under Section 528 of BNSS seeking quashing of the FIR No. 15/2025 registered with police station Shivdaspura, Jaipur City (South) for the offences under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 303(2) and 189(2) of BNS. 2. It is contended that petitioners and respondent No. 2 have amicably settled their dispute. The offences under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 303(2) of BNS are compoundable but the offence under Section 189(2) of BNS is not compoundable. Dispute between the parties is private in nature and not affecting the society, therefore on the grounds of compromise arrived between [2025:RJ-JP:16731] (2 of 2) [CRLMP-1527/2025] the parties the proceedings initiated through registration of FIR against the petitioners may be quashed. 3. Learned counsel for the complainant concedes that the petitioners and respondent No. 2 have arrived at compromise and if the FIR is quashed then the complainant/respondent No. 2 has no objection. Complainant himself is present in person before the court and concedes that he entered into compromise with the petitioners and if the FIR is quashed, then he has no objection. 4. In light of the judgment passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and Another, 2012 INSC 419, this court deems it appropriate to quash the FIR No. 15/2025 registered with police station Shivdaspura, Jaipur City (South) for the offences under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 303(2) and 189(2) of BNS alongwith the entire criminal proceedings arising out of the aforesaid FIR. 5. Accordingly, the instant petition stands disposed of. (PRAVEER BHATNAGAR),J ashu /187
