By way of filing of this writ petition, a prayer has been made by the petitioner to issue a direction to the respondents to grant him promotion on the post of Ayurved Chikitsak. 2. At the outset, counsel for the respondents apprised this Court that promotion has already been granted to the petitioner on the post of Ayurved Chikitsak pertaining to the year 2004- 2005. Counsel submits that under the changed circumstances, no cause of action survives with the petitioner to continue with this petition, hence this petition has become infructuous. 3.
