Through the medium of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction upon the respondents that he may be provided adequate security and he may also be allowed to retain the possession of Room No. 244 in Hotel Angel situated at Indra Nagar, Srinagar. 02. It has been contended by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner is a political worker and he is facing threat from anti-national elements, as a result of which he has been allowed to occupy Room No. 244 of the aforesaid Hotel at Indra Nagar, Srinagar, but the respondents are threatening to dispossess him from the said Room No. 244. 03. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied if the present petition is treated as a representation by the respondents and appropriate action thereon is taken in accordance with law within a stipulated time. 04. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat the instant petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner and to take appropriate action thereon in accordance with law, expeditiously. 05. Till such time the said representation is considered and decided by the respondents, if the petitioner is in occupation of the aforementioned accommodation, he shall not be dispossessed therefrom. 06.
