Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: "A) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Commissioner, Basti Division, Basti to decide the Revision No. 946 of 2023 (Jannatun Nisha Versus Siratun Nisha & Others) under Section 210 of Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code-2006 pending before Commissioner, Basti Division, Basti within short and stipulated time." 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the aforementioned revision is pending before the respondent no.2 and the same may be decided within the stipulated period. 4.No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. The writ petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent no.2, the Commissioner, Basti Division, Basti to consider and decide the aforementioned revision, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after ensuring service upon all the respondents and after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
